Woan Ni’s sense of sneaker style is something her boyfriend has helped to nurture with a number of pick ups on her behalf, and these rare adidas steez represent someone who likes to wear something with comfort in mind that also oozes some design swag, and some head turning rareness.
The SLVR line was unfortunately closed down last year, but in it’s 4 year lifespan (it ran from 2009 to 2013) the SLVR line was renowned for fusing high fashion designer materials with utilitarian wearability, something I love to see in the sneaker game as it offers that perfect match of function and form.
True to SLVR form these S-M-L Concept Shoes shoes are light and hugely wearable (factors that saw many adi lovers preferring SLVR to Y-3) which is a good job for Woan Ni as she’s always running around town either for shoots, and for fulfilling her desire to find and form her unique look.
I say ‘form’ her look, as in addition to buying her own clothes Woan Ni is also a passionate knitter who makes her clothes when she can too (as you can see from the pic showing the wool store visit that happened midway through our shoot).
So from head to toe Woan Ni is interested in making a statement and standing out from the crowd in her own way, and with shoes this good, she’s one step ahead of the crowd in my opinion.
